Their 777s are certainly showing their age now. It will be a lot better when the 787s and A350s arrive in 6 months.

However, I've flown them long-haul 4 times in the last few months and never experienced anything like you said - the toilets were all working and the IFE was working (at most seats anyway!) My only gripe was the lack of service - no drinks offering between meals.
