I've just reached Platinum Status in AAdvantage, and my new status is showing in my account on AA.com as of today.

I have an existing booking on BA for which I'd now like to take advantage of the advance/free seat selection benefit for one world Sapphire status (I'm only Blue in BAEC).

Having called BA direclty - they are saying my AA status is still showing as OW Ruby.

Does anyone know how long it should take for BA to be able to see my upgraded OW status in their systems?
