As I read the WiKi, the US Airway card can certainly be churned (as I just did with help from FTers). The Wiki says:

That wiki is poorly written. First is says yes (which is only true for some people), then in the next question it admits that it's "YMMV" (ie, works for some, not for others).
It's fantastic that it says it's "better to get instant approval", but without explaining
how to get instant approval (which no one to date has figured out), that's not really of that much real help. If you
happen to get instant approval, you can churn. If you don't get instant approval (for unknown reasons which are
not related to credit score), you're toast.
I'm happy for you that you got an instant approval, but not everyone can, and for those who can't, the US Airways card
can't be churned.
So is it possible for
someone to churn the US card? Definitely.
Is it possible for everyone who could get approved for any other Barclays card to churn the US card? Definitely not!
