no excuses

Sorry, I can't accept excuses that anytime two systems are merged, there will be issues. Yes, we all know that.

HOWEVER, Southwest's foray into International has been both exciting and inexecusable at the same time.

I flew CUN-BWI-PWM yesterday. Here's my tale:

Connection @ BWI. March ten thousand steps from E terminal to B terminal last night at 9pm. Virtually every pax going through TSA has come from our CUN flight. Fully half of the queue has their boarding pass rejected since the TSA system cannot scan them correctly. Pax are sent to the WN ticket counter to have new boarding passes generated (after they've been in the TSA queue for 20 minutes!). I approach the TSA stand and, like others, my boarding pass for BWI-PWM was rejected (remember, this was issued by WN in CUN!) and I'm sent back to the ticket counter. Ticket counter tells me this happens on EVERY SINGLE INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! That's nuts in the extreme.

And, since WN hasn't yet figured out a way to have my TRUSTED TRAVELLER information show on a boarding pass that's part of an international itinerary, I cannot access TSA precheck in BWi!

Both of these are entirely WN issues and should've been addressed many months ago! INEXCUSABLE
