Im flying SOF-MAD-MIA on Friday and the first leg is on an IB code, operated by Bulgarian air and the second transatlantic leg marketed and operated by IB. As BA silver, usually the 23kg allowance is waived and 32kg is permitted on BA/IB. Will we be allowed to check in 1 32kg bag (either as BA silver or as a pooling of 2 peoples standard allowance) in Sofia? I prefer to pack everything into 1 bag as I find it easier than 2 smaller ones.
