FO benefits, which are not available to Amex holders include:

Sky Priority checkin.
Ability to select free preferred seats at checkin, and EC/C+ seats at the 24 hour window.
Occasional upgrades.
2nd checked bag at no charge, if you have DL Amex.
Telephone call priority.
RDM bonus.

To quote someone else, an FO is the lowest person on the totem pole, but at lease she/he is on the totem pole.
