KWI-IAD Canceled on December 8 because IAD-KWI canceled for mechanical the night before.
They operated an extra segment 24 hrs later, but after a couple hours on the phone I managed to get rerouted via IST and FRA. Not a peep from United yet, and no offers of compensation.
Will be interesting to see if they respond to my request to reimburse hotel and phone charges for the forced overnight.
Plan on 4-6 weeks before you even get an acknowledgement from UA that something even went wrong.... It's been four weeks
