'Fast Track' does not come with a performance guarantee from BA just as the 'Drop Dead Burger' does not really guarantee that eating it will result in what you could expect. It is just a fancy name for something that is meaningless, just as priority boarding, on board gourmet dining, club kitchen, full English breakfast, afternoon tea service, extended breakfast, priority baggage, customer service center, champagne in CE,... (feel free to add).
