Slightly OT and FWIW, I just flew OS VIE-YYZ who also have 30" pitch on their 767s. I was quite comfortable and had as much legroom as on ACs A320s.
Given changes in seat design, pitch is becoming a more difficult apples to apples comparison.
When you are above a certain height, 30" is 30" regardless of what the seat is made of. Oh well, still won`t fly AC in the near future it seems (they don`t care and I am fine with that. Their business to run it the way they see fit.)
