They simply lost my business and that of my family and friends.
The fact they sent, what I consider a hate filled e-mail" to my mom telling her she committed fraud... not saying "we found multiple accounts and are inquiring", but rather "your account has been closed" and then making their false allegations.
I figure they took about 20,000 points, but lost a lot more from bad advertising (ie: negative word of mouth travels faster then good... at work I mentioned it and within two days over 30 people who had accounts with them closed them in protest, and one woman made several purchases from them a month).
In the end they get what they deserve, a declining customer base, bad reputation and all that goes with it.
Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion of greenpoints, but I would sooner do business with a con-man then with a company that trys to display this wholesome image, then insults the very customers it claims to want to do business with.
