I was planning on spending the remainder of the spend to get to $40k Dec 15-30, and it seems those transactions will not count toward 2014 EQM qualification, but only for 2015.
I appealed and supervisor said "AA does not allow" any exception to this issue.
Anyone had the same issue?
The same thing happened last year with someone spending $40K on the HHilton Res card to get Diamond status. The charges were even done in time, but didn't post for a couple of weeks (Citi wouldn't do that on purpose, now would they?

). He appealed and appealed, HUCA over and over, even got promised several times by Citi Supervisors that it would be taken care of for him, but it never was. So I'm afraid you are out of luck.
Knowing this, is it any wonder I have no sense of guilt about getting EXEC after EXEC, booking the miles, and canceling before the fee is due? Just like Citi, I go by the published rules, and use them to my advantage.
