Upon further review, I think maybe all he has is a bank debit card that his dad deposits $ into. I haven't had reason to learn the full details, since it really wasn't any of my business.

Sometimes things a bank does just make no sense. I once had Citi Recon ask me to hang up so they could call me at my residence to make sure it was really me doing an app. And at that point I'd had ccs with them for over 15 years. I once had a Chase Recon CSR grill me for over 15 minutes on a personal app, and ask me to recite addresses I'd lived at for the past 12 years, despite my having some 5 Chase ccs open at that time.

For whatever reason, RB needs more confirmation of his identity, and once that's done, everything should be fine.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help out. ^ If RB had just sent that email a few hours earlier, it would have saved us all a lot of confusion.
