Don't know...can't recall ever seeing anything recently in writing from DL that the Reserve card puts you higher, whether by fare class within your Medallion cohort or if you go to the top of your cohort.
There's an old FT post that mentions seeing text on the DL website, but that post is almost 3 years old. I think it's a been at least 2 years since the text has been removed.
