It remains to be seen if that $4,000 difference with a Y ticket is really there, considering that it only amounts to a much more comfortable seat for a few hours and some better food/drinks.
I've never done a J/F award redemption. I've been op-upped a number of times and certainly enjoy the J experience. I just don't personally value it more than a few hundred dollars over coach. What can I say, I'm a cheapskate
