I knew there was a transfer fee, but wow, 1.5¢ a mile? Bad idea is correct. Also didn't know abou t the 100k mile limit.

He has actual seat time 2mm+, so that means the miles don't expire?

He isn't very knowledgable in MP, as like most who fly that much; he never made his own reservations and I'm new to flying routinely, for business.

My main goal was to try and gain his status, as my company won't even pay for Economy+
We also wanted to obviously keep the miles for family who doesn't routinely fly
