Do you mean he has 2mm RDMs, or do you mean he has flown 2mm miles (which makes him lifetime Plat)? If so, just have redeem miles out of his account for you. Inhereted status is disappearing for such redemptions, but he will still have benefits relative to award fees, etc.

For others - do RDMs expire if held by a lifetime Plat or does an award redemption count as "activity"?
