It is the top property in town and knows it. As a result, I have found the service lacking sometimes and the management inaccessible when they should be visible.

Until they have some real competition and there is at least one other luxury hotel in town, I doubt that this will change.

Yes, it is a very good hotel. But even being at the top it was never even close to being as good as the Park Hyatt Tokyo was when it was the only luxury hotel in its town.
