Just returned from my first stay here - this is probably going to be my new home in Tokyo. Most of my past stays in the city have been at the Conrad or PHT but I really like the Andaz. Overall I really love the design of this hotel. The rooms, public spaces, and gym are all excellent - and of course the views out the windows. I also enjoyed the service delivered by the staff - polished without being over the top formal.

Arrived from Tokyo station via Taxi - fare was 1450JPY. Driver had no problem finding it via his Navi.

Upgraded to tower view king. I like the layout of the room and the contrasting lighter bedroom and the darker bathroom. The analog switches on the lighting control panels are a nice touch. Bed comfortable and room very quiet.

The breakfast while a bit limited in variety was all very high quality. My only suggestion would be to have a small menu of interesting made to order items that rotate through the week to mix it up a bit more.

Had cocktails and snacks at the Tavern bar one night - again, high quality and the bartending staff were great to chat with. The wine happy hour is also a nice touch that I enjoy at Andaz, and again, loved the environment it was delivered in.

I think my only disappointment thus far is that you can't use DSU's here.

I'll definitely be back.
