Yes it does get changed around from time to time, particularly in the afternoons when it sometimes goes to 3 each. But it does appear to be a manual process and though on average accurate, it can't be totally relied upon. In particular if you have Fast Track access and there is a queue at the front of South, you may as well go North Fast Track instead.
