For a V fare, you would earn 25% RDM (redeemable miles) and 100% MQMs. The devaluation of the RDMs is to approximately align with Delta's change to awarding RDMs on their flights by dollars spent rather than miles flown. I'd recommend booking the Delta-marketed flight if it's a code share — otherwise you will not accrue MQDs towards status requirements.
