In a few weeks I'll be flying UA to Europe with a six-hour connection in Oslo. Is there any reason to worry about my checked bag being forgotten in a dark corner of the airport during such a long connection? Are airports set up to handle bags that arrive six hours in advance of the next flight?

Alternatively, I suppose I could take it as a carry-on, but then I would have to hope there's a baggage locker somewhere that can fit a 22-inch carry-on.

Any thoughts?
