I'm new to the forum, so please forgive me if this has been posted already. I can't find it.
In July, I received a Finnair gift voucher for 600-plus Euros because of last minute emergency changes in my travel plans this past summer. It's only good for flights that "departing from a country within the euro currency zone and...booked through the Finnair website." The email I got from Customer Service says it is valid until 01.07.2015 but travel can be later. I take that to mean it must be booked by January 7, 2015. "The voucher is not personal, so you can pass it on to a friend," it says, but does that mean I can also sell it? I was hoping to make a trip in the spring, but this turns out to be a bad year for it due to other family members' health issues. Also, it's hard for me to use bc it doesn't cover U.S. to Europe travel. I don't want to completely lose this considerable amount of money, but I also don't want to get in trouble. I was thinking of listing it on ebay.
