The only leg of my upcoming weekend MR this year that hasn't cleared with use of SWU is AA 133 from JFK-LAX tomorrow afternoon. The original call to apply SWUs apparently got messed up, since I wasn't on the wait list for the upgrade, but a call into the EXP desk earlier this week fixed that.

Yesterday, AA web site's "View available seats" feature showed two seats open in F and one open in J. Today, I see one seat open in F, and two in J.

Looks like it'll be a crapshoot. I'll check with AUS AAngels on my outbound to JFK tomorrow morning, and keep my fingers crossed.

Any good restaurants in the AA terminals of JFK, in case I'm stuck in coach?
