Time to jump ship?
Thanks for creating this thread; I've been a longtime lurker, but I'm hoping for a little advice on the right FFP for me. I've been focused on MileagePlus this year, and I can easily meet their new program changes in place next year.
For members asking for information, to help people to assist you, can you please provide:
(1) What is most important to you in a FFP?
Upgrades on travel #1
Extra baggage allowance
Priority services
(2) How many miles do you usually fly each year & in what class? How many flights/sectors?
This year 160K so far; next year will be 200K-300K over 100 sectors.
(3) What types of fares do you usually buy ?
Premium Economy for North America; Business for international
(4) Can you choose your airlines and/or class of service? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
Mostly for work, but I have some freedom on class with longer flights.
Reply:
(5) Which routes and airlines do you fly most often
Coast-to-coast US Domestic for the most part
Quite a few Caribbean trips too
(6) What is your home airport?
SAN
(7) Do you have FFP status of any kind in an airline? What is it? Do you have any miles banked in a FFP?
United 1K
American Gold
Southwest A-List
(8) Preferred Airlines
It has been United this year but no preference.
Thanks again!
