I'm booking a flight from ALB to DCA to MCO. Two legs, and it's the same plane. When i land in DCA, do i have to get off and reboard?

I've flown Delta and they made me get off and Southwest just tells you to get the seat you want after everyone gets off.

What's US Air/American's policy about that?
