Unfortunately, you'll have just missed the grand annual gathering of ANC-based FTers for New Year's Eve (complete with a display of fireworks that usually manages not to set anything on fire). I won't be around (though that could always change...), but if any of the remaining ANC folks are in town, still alive, and sober, you might have some luck meeting up.
I'm really good at getting to a city one or two days after a big Do. This must be my third or fourth in a year! But, of course, it had to be after the first of the year, next year's qualification and all...
Weather is predicted to be above zero F on the only website I could find that didn't give me annual averages but a real forecast. Not that anything between 0-32 F will mean much to me, it's all just really, really cold.
So my preference is to meet indoors, if anyone is around!
