This thread is a good reminder to all of us to do our "due diligence" when packing for our return flights...
Back in the 90's, before GE, I used to travel to EZE frequently. I would frequently purchase several (5-6) bottles of wine, and would always declare it. Always waived through; too much hassle for them to collect the small amount of duty on a few extra bottles of wine.
I once brought in some vacuum-packed venison, and some salmon. I declared it. I had to give up the ungulates, but was allowed to keep the seafood. It went into a big cardboard box. Wonder if it was available for lunch that day

?
Bottom line; declare it. Harder to remember after a long flight when hitting the Kiosk, but this thread has been a help in that regard.
