I think the combination of having a star alliance partner in India and the ability to use a more fuel efficient aircraft might allow the route to succeed this time. Also, I do notice AC advertising in the U.S. a lot more than they used to, so they may also have more connection opportunities than in the past. I do hope it works out for them. It is much better than having to transit in Europe or the Middle East. And I would much rather fly AC J to DEL than UA J, and this time AC is also offering a true PE product.
