I tried to book for my brother with my AA miles. When I click submit, it says my AA account is not matched with the name of passenger.
Since you are having so much trouble booking on line, just call AA at (800) 433-7300, and book the award for your brother with an agent. Since you are already paying the $75 close-in award-ticketing fee, I
think that you will not have to pay any additional fee for booking by phone. But make very clear to the agent that you want the award ticket issued in your
brother's name, not yours.
How much is a one-way cash ticket on AA, Southwest, or some other carrier?
