On aa.com, go to Plan Travel. Click on the AAdvantage Award tab. Click the one-way radio button. Enter TPA and LAX for Dec 18. Do it right now and you'll find that there is at least one seat available on the nonstop for 12.5k miles.

Do. It. Now. before the seats are grabbed by someone else.
