ok...I've googled for info but can't find anything specific or definitive to my question, so hoping someone here can help.
I will be traveling to Zim and then on to South Africa. A friend asked if I could bring Kunai throwing knives and also 2 lock blade knives for him as good quality ones are very expensive in SA. If I pack the knives (well wrapped and tucked safely between clothes in my checked bag), will I have issues taking them into Zimbabwe? Should my bag be searched, what are the chances of them being confiscated and me being thrown into jail?? Ha, this is Zim so that in itself is a loaded question!!!
I did find info on Air Zimbabwe website saying knives should be packed in checked bags but am not sure if this would specifically relate or pertain to international arrivals. My concern is mostly getting through customs in Zim as this is my first stop. Ultimately I need to get the knives to SA.
