My daughter and I will be travelling to Costa Rica from Raleigh a week after her 2nd birthday in March. She is a good traveller but I'm already prepping.

I'm collecting quiet toys - some old favourites and some new ones.

I'm figuring out food planning - she is allergic to peanuts and pistachios and we are flying first class so I need to plan extra carefully to avoid a reaction in the air

I will be getting an extra epi-pen so we have 3 to take with us

She will have her own seat (of course since she will be over 2). I will need her car seat on arrival so we will use that. I may also get a Cares harness but am not sure.

We will use the stroller. I want it with me in Costa Rica, and besides, trying to get through an airport with a wandering toddler - no thanks.

We tend to walk and pace the gate area.

Depending on her mood that day, we may or may not go to the Admirals Club. The one in LAX has a kids room but the one in RDU does not

Since we are travelling internationally with just one parent (she doesn't have a father) I will also have her birth certificate with me to prove sole custody.

We are going to Charlotte on Monday to get her Global Entry
