That £129 is high by historic standards as you indicated, and it will be interesting to see whether the 80 TP locations go much higher than that. Equally if you have to travel to these places at the marginal TP earning rate it's quite good value.
Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking for a while now. Just never got around to registering and posting.

As I say, it was very good value before. Probably too good and they plugged the loophole. We'll see if they remain high going forward. OTP is a fairly regular destination for me right now. For sure, I'll be checking on the usual release dates, and in between (I see my flight right now only has 3 CE rows, which means that can change closer to flight time if economy isn't packed full already). Maybe a good deal can be had.

I actually made silver originally on POUGs to MUC mostly. So, when I had some OTP flights lined up, and I saw the POUGs were the same price it wasn't really rocket science to take them.

At the new £129 price it's now a question of whether I should take them. They're effectively roughly the same value as the MUC/FRA (and I guess any other short haul) POUGs. So still viable, just now marginally rather than the no-brainer status they held until now.
