As *G, me and her will already get checked bag allowance, priority everything and lounge access...If we get preferred seats at check in then it's not really worth it :P

Apologies for not being clear. I meant the added AQMs will improve chances of hitting E50k (unless your flight is in 2014, and you've already hit E50k for this year). In that case, the only difference is the food, and booze and possible a lounge in PVR (if there is one) which would most likely be contracted for J passengers and not accessible for *G.
Personally, I'd still do it, because you only live once. But $800 is still a good amount of money.
