It was my first and only experience with TK hotel.
Generally try to avoid overnight connections.
All in all I felt also lucky, cause the line after handed my BP over the counter kept growing worryingly. No point to go through this ordeal on a 7h transit, specially if you you are entitled to lounge access.
Not sure being sunday may have something to do. What I noticed was a fairly large group homeward from Nepal.
Furthermore the Elite/Elite Plus/Business fast track to immigration is manned by just one Officer, and the regular line seemed to take forever.
Crew, pilots and diplomats are not exempt: they too were stuck in their line for not less than half an hour.
