But I have to say, in response to post #7, that saying we are "spoiled" is pretty strange. My husband and I are seniors, and the decibel level and tone of the prop engines on the Horizon Q400 are sufficient to cause physical discomfort if we sit anywhere near the engine. So we sit way in the back, and are grateful for the short trip. I otherwise like the Q400 and Horizon in general.
I would suggest forward seating on the CR7. However, the CR7 is a small JET aircraft. So, the sounds are similar to the 737 -- only the plane is smaller. Trust me, the noise/vibration is nothing at all like the Q400's.
The only thing that I notice on the CRJ series-aircraft is that the movement of the aircraft (turns, descent) is more noticeable, primarily because of its smaller size.
