Before panicking you may want to should wait a few more weeks, and take action only then.

There's a rumor over the AA board that in the Joint Business Agreement AA has committed to 100% lie flat seats in J over the transatlantic by NS15, which is why it is -- at the last minute -- upgrading J on some of its 763s and 777s (which will gain the 772 designator after conversion). If that's the case, you will most likely see a lie flat seat when equipment is allocated, probably a 772.

[Edited to add: the currently scheduled 772 (flat J) are on the schedule only until 28MAR15, none appearing after that, a clear sign that the equipment allocation has indeed not been done. The US/AA integration is most likely the reason why they're so behind with it]

I did wonder if the config would be likely to change again due to the 772 refub that is taking place. Do you know when airlines do their equipment allocation for new seasons? ie is it months in advanace or closer to the end of previous season?
