The news is also being reported on credible news sources too.

If they ban all hand luggage I won't fly. End of. I won't be checking in valuable items to the hold. I was caught up in the failed BA transatlantic bombing plots back in 2007(?) and I had to hold check all my luggage. My laptop and phone and camera all went missing.
