World Select - INR 10K (~$165) joining fee / INR 4.5k ($75) Annual Fee - 15K Miles joining bonus / 4K Miles renewal bonus
World - INR 3.5k ($60) joining fee / INR3.5k ($60) Annual Fee - 5k Miles joining bonus / 3k miles renewal bonus

The weak point is earning potential - only 6miles/INR 200 ($3) on World Select & 4miles/INR 200 ($3) on World. For Movie bookings though (!!!) its 20miles/INR 200 ($3). I can get much more on Citi PM card but it cant trsfr to M&M - though to other *A programs like AI / Krisflyr / Thai etc

Right now they are running a promotion till 25th Dec which means 15k extra joining miles on World Select & 5k extra joining miles + 50% waiver of joining fee on World.

So if i apply for World Select - i can get 30k miles as joining bonus for INR 10,000 ($165). MM regularly runs promotions for 30k return Eco / 55k return Biz to Europe - so this INR 10,000 ($165) effectively gives me a free Eco return ticket to Europe. (right now Del - multiple austrian cities). The only question i have is whats the taxes LH/Austrian charges for award bookings - for a revenue booking the taxes are nearly 32-35K INR ($550) for a return Europe trip while fare component is only INR 12000 ($200) which makes redeeming the award miles worthless - only a $35 value saving.

I cant seem to check it as i dont have enough miles in my account - can anyone help me with that ? And does it makes sense to apply for this card considering i dont think i will renew it after a year but only use it for its joining bonus.
