It looks pretty but is a "digital card" of any use?

The issue with a "digital card" with trying to use it with other OW airlines; particularly the lounge agents and check-in agents. Will they accept it or insist on see an actual physical card if there are no details on your boarding pass. Does any other OW airline offer something similar that lounge agents will be familiar with the concept?

I recall the posting by Highlife proving GGL status without a physical card. It can come in useful in the UK but only if BA lounge agents are duly informed. Great marketing hype but had BA staff been properly briefed? The two have never gone together. It is probably fine in the UK but again, how familiar with outstation "outsourced" staff be with this?
