Most of this sounds good but the 'digital card' is a bit of a gimmick. You can easily find your BAEC number and status in passbook by flipping over (pressing the 'i' key) on one of your boarding passes or simply opening the app.

In most places we don't need a card and the digital card would fail in the places we do (e.g. If there's any third party lounges that insist on a card they're not likely to accept this as it's easier to fake than a plastic card), it wouldn't be able to be used as ID in self service kiosks and places where they'd usually swipe the card (on board duty free) will now have to type the number in so you might as well just give them your boarding pass with the same info on it.

However, just like the new coloured boarding passes, this is a relatively simple feature to implement so don't worry about them wasting resources.

The rest, in particular Avios bookings, are useful improvements.

In general it's great that we're getting so many updates to this app and it's not standing still. ^
