You are guaranteed to get a new Y seat as the older a/c can't make the DXB-LAX trip.

Fairly quiet and much quieter than a 777. Try to take a seat in the first mini cabin of the A380 i.e. < row # 50 where the noise levels are the least. EK use Engine Alliance engines.
