Splitting a PNR - What happens to the seats?

Hi,

I have a booking outbound CW return WTP for 3 people which I'm looking to split due to 1 passenger planning to fly back a few days later. I understand I can change the date of the flight for a $200 fee + fare difference however I would need to first split the booking. Now, I passenger is silver, thus giving seating assignment privileges to everyone. I was wondering what happens to those seating assignment when I split the booking? I've already selected the seats for everyone for now, as it's still all one booking. Would the assignment remain?

Thanks,
TUF
