Backing up other peoples comments, I don't think i've ever been ID'd on any internal flight other than when needing assistance. However, if the ticket gender is different to the traveller gender, I would imagine there is an extremely high chance of this being picked up at either the gate or at the door of the plane. It simply would not go un-noticed if you are a Bob and the ticket stated a Sue.
