It's more situated for golfers on a boys trip, not families looking for a vacation.

There's not a lot to do in the area. Furthermore, some of the "amenities" offered by the resort are actually upwards of a 1/2 hour drive "off campus"...

Sadly, this RC is a Marriott in Ritz clothing. Makes the RC Amelia look really good.

ps, the RC Amelia could be a viable option for you, depending on what you like to do. There's a LOT of good nature around (preserves, beaches, hikes, bird-watching, etc). Above-average golfing, tennis, etc. 3 pools. Gorgeous beaches. Reasonable rates. And so on...
