Only nights over 50 (presumably minus the previous year's rollover nights) will roll over.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Yes, I've just checked the website and it categorically states "Only nights over 50 will count towards Roll-Over". I guess this is the case for those who have stayed at different properties in the portfolio and fast-tracked to Platinum. They must wait until 50 nights before rollover.
No problem, I'll start New Year with about 2 rollover nights!
Did you consider to check out on 12/31 and check back in again later in the day?

Sorry, you lost me on this one. What would/might that achieve? I'm not planning on being in a hotel for New Years, but could book into one if needed.
