Hi all, I have been traveling with the incredibly versatile Ice Breaker 200 base layer in my travels. It keeps me warm even in winter in northern europe (with a light jacket on top) and that makes me happy.

But here is one problem - its merino wool and when I step into temperatures that are in excess of 60 degrees F, it itches and makes me uncomfortable. This is a very common occurrence because in any given day, I'm stepping into public transport (heated), offices (heated), and airports (extra heated).

So, are there any alternates that are equally effective, lightweight, dries easily but are not made of merino wool?
