I'm at Manchester airport where I've just heard someone refer to the place as "Ringworm Airport", presumably a pun on its old name of Ringway. I've also heard several people refer to Heathrow as "Thief-row", an equally appalling play on words, and someone else once refer to Gatwick as "T**twick".

Not sophisticated, I'll grant you, but it made me wonder what other nicknames people have for their local airport.
