To OP: I had a similar error message when I tried to book a same day GNV-SAN-GNV MR. Great price but error message kept popping up saying my return can't be within an hour of arrival. Had no problem booking a DCA-LAS-CLT-GNV same day MR though and that was only a 30 minute connection. I assume it allowed it because it was all part of the return portion whereas the GNV-SAN was a separate arrival and departure? Just guessing though.

I always thought that the 24 hour cancellation rule, with a full refund, was only applicable to airlines based in the United States. After the feedback from this discussion, I called Air Cdn. and found out that it also has the same policy, if booked on their website. To think of the deals I've missed out on because I didn't know this rule applied in other situations... Oh well, at least now I know.
