Transmission fault - Service now
I am on day 2 of 3 on my Ford Focus.
I should have never accepted it in the first place - "Low Tire Pressure" when I started the car in the lot - but I paid no attention because I am accustomed to seeing this message on Zipcars which I rent frequently.
I am now 20 miles away and a red icon popped up with the message "Transmission fault - Service now." The car still drives (perhaps less smoothly) and the message has disappeared.
What are my options? Does Avis offer any compensation since this was clearly a maintenance oversight on their end? I'll admit I accepted the tire pressure issue, but not the transmission issue.
